This December - January 2023 School Holidays, WA Museum’s Perth and Fremantle locations are packed full of school holiday activities with many being FREE! Their drop and leave programs are affordable and very convenient for parents either working through Christmas or can’t take leave from work.
Wonderland is the showcase exhibition at WA Museum Boola Bardip direct from ACMI in Melbourne and forms an exciting school holiday program of events and activities to get involved in.

It’s a fully immersive exhibition celebrating the work of Lewis Carroll’s Alice In Wonderland and brings together cinematic presentations of the literary work, including movies, animation and showcasing costumes and props. There’s a place for you at the Mad Hatter’s table where digital projections take over as the magic begins!
Come and experience as a family all the interactive exhibits that bring Wonderland to life!

Highlights | 2022/23 Summer-January School Holidays
Illuminate: Alice @ WA Museum Boola Bardip | FREE
Delight in spectacular Alice In Wonderland night projections at WA Museum Boola Bardip which form part of the City of Perth Christmas Lights Trail.
Daily from Sunset till late between 7pm to 10:30pm.
Audioplay: The Turners @ WA Museum Boola Bardip
Based on Mick Elliott’s book series The Turners, Audioplay is an immersive audio experience where you're physically playing the characters in this action-packed adventure!
Daily every half hour between 10am - 4pm from Thursday 12 to Wednesday 25 January, excluding Sundays.
Riddled With Rats! @ WA Shipwrecks Museum
Play hide and seek with the ultimate tricky travellers with the world's most expert sea voyagers!
Submarine Slipway Tour
Tour Fremantle's historic World War Two submarine slipway & get up close to the submarine HMAS Ovens. Tours daily, subject to availability. Museum fees apply.
