How to beat Sideshow Alley Games!

We’ve all been there – spending more than we’d like trying to win that giant stuffed animal or the elusive goldfish at carnival games.
These games are fun, but they’re also tricky!
However, with a little know-how, you can tilt the odds in your favour.
Here are five hacks to help you win big at this year’s Osborne Park Show!
1. The Milk Bottle Knockdown
This classic game looks simple, but the bottles are often weighted, making them harder to knock over. Aim for the base of the pyramid and use a straight, hard throw. Don’t be afraid to give it some power!
2. Basketball Toss
These hoops are often smaller and more oval than you realise, making them harder to score. The key here is finesse, not force. Aim for a high arc shot, using a gentle flick of the wrist to improve your chances.

3. Ring Toss
This one is notoriously tough because the rings are only slightly larger than the bottles. The trick is to throw the ring as softly as possible with a slight spin, so it lands flat over the bottle.
4. Balloon Darts
With this game, aim for the balloons that are fully inflated, as they pop easier than underinflated ones. Don’t overthink it – a firm, steady throw will do the trick.
5. The Water Gun Race
Here, consistency is key! Make sure your aim stays perfectly in line with the target, and focus on keeping your stream steady.

Flexible tickets differ to the normal Ordinary online tickets (which will require you to select the night you wish to attend, in that they will enable you to use them on EITHER night of the show, ie Friday OR Saturday.
