Fremantle Arts Centre is an amazing family friendly destination. Housed in one of Fremantle’s most stunning buildings, the enclosed leafy grounds are a favourite meeting place for mother’s groups, coffee dates and relaxed picnics.
With an on-site café, contemporary art galleries and a dedicated kids’ corner open year-round, there’s always something to see and do.
Each school holidays Fremantle Arts Centre runs kids’ art courses in a wide range of artforms. With streams for younger kids (5–8yrs), older kids (9–12yrs) and teens, kids learn age-appropriate skills in the fun, hands-on workshops. There are classes in animation, painting, mosaics, felting, sculpture, fashion, textiles, pottery, drawing, printmaking, photography and much more.
