Have a fridge with more food being thrown out than eaten? Hubby always forgets to eat the fruits or pack them for the kids so it gets wasted.
Don’t know what to cook for the family? Yes, because I’m not a TV chef.
How fresh are the groceries that you’ve just bought from the supermarket? Fresh is a very loosely defined concept at supermarkets with some fruit and vege being stored for a year in freezers.
Feeling guilty about feeding your child unhealthy, convenient food rather than proper food? Even if the fish fingers are air fried how much healthier can processed food be?
It was these pains, along with the purpose of sourcing local produce, that led and inspired local Perth mother, Mai Hughes, to start My Foodie Box in 2017 with her husband.
My Foodie Box is a meal box delivery service that brings joy back into WA kitchens… in particular, those of busy family households. Saving parents a lot of time, energy and frustration.
They also support the local WA community by only sourcing WA fresh produce, ethically farmed meat and sustainably caught fish. All this beautiful food is packaged using materials that are biodegradable with as little impact on the environment as possible.
