GO outdoors and enjoy nature with an easy Obstacle course!
Struggling to keep the children entertained? Trying to get them off their devices? Obstacle courses are an easy and fun way to encourage children to escape to the garden or the park, get active and release some energy.
Not only that – they have a great range of benefits! Obstacle courses promote problem solving, develop motor skills, enhance strength, balance and co-ordination. It doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated, just use some hula hoops, kicking balls, brooms or a plank and there will be no stopping them or their imagination!
“Here at Meerlinga we believe in a holistic approach to education and advocate for children to learn through play. Our centres have beautiful naturescape outdoor environments co-designed by children and families to support children’s learning and ensure positive experiences as they grow.”
Lesley Moreschi, CEO Meerilinga Young Children’s Foundation
With six community centres, operating from 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, Meerilinga Early Learning Programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
If you’re looking for an education focused alternative to childcare, you’re invited to experience a taste of the pre-kindy program for yourself! All new families are welcome to visit for a free orientation for their child to meet the educators and other children in the program.
