Why Go Karting is romantic

Our very first date was go-karting.

“Of all the things we could’ve done, why go-karting?” I asked.

Scott, my partner, replied,“Well it has the 3 key ingredients for a great date night.”

“What’s that Mr Science?” I asked.

Always methodical, he proceeds to list the ‘science’ behind how he attracted me.

“Firstly, it has to be a shared experience or something different enough so you’ll remember me for awhile…good or bad.”

“Uh huh,” I laughed as I humoured him.

“Next, I didn’t want you to feel pressured or intimidated by it.” However, at the time, I was a little bit intimidated by the kart and track but helpful staff at the track gave great instruction and managed each run safely.

“Lastly, a bit of friendly competition brought out the personality I fell in love with.”

Awww… It makes me want to relive our first date all over again.
