During the school holidays, if you're working in and around the City of Canning or simply catching up with family and friends, then the City offers affordable, fully supervised school holiday activities at their Leisureplexes and Whaleback Golf Course.
Best of all, it'll keep the kids fit and active during these school holidays.
Here's a sneak peek of all the school holiday fun from the City of Canning's Leisureplexes and Whaleback Golf Course:
Leisureplex creche
The creches at Riverton and Cannington Leisureplex are open throughout the school holidays and have activities for little ones aged 12 weeks to 6 years. Perfect if you'd like to get in a Group Fitness Class or shopping nearby.
Kids Aerials Short Course
In this unique short course your kids will learn techniques and skills to gracefully climb, wrap and twist while suspended in aerial silks.

Kids BoxFITT
Kids have energy to burn? The Kids BoxFITT classes teach the fundamentals of boxing while developing focus, fitness and confidence in safe and engaging environment.
Multi-sports
Keep the kids active and engaged during these school holidays with the amazing Multisports! have fun trying different sports and playing exciting team building mini games.
Golf School Holiday Clinics
Get the kids into Golf with the resident Whaleback Pro over 3 days. Kids will learn everything from hitting to putting with everything coming together with an on-course lesson.

The Play Centre
The Play Centre is designed for children aged 0 to eight years old. It is colourful, safe and air-conditioned, and includes two slides, a small flying fox, and a super fun ball pit. There’s also a separate play area for tiny tots.
Parents can join in the fun or sit in the parent area with a view of the play areas.

Play Centre Ultimate Play is now $4 (FREE for children under 1). You can also attend both the morning and afternoon sessions on the same day.
- Morning session: 9am – 12pm
- Afternoon session: 1pm – 4pm
Conditions of entry
- Return Policy – Upon leaving the Play Centre premises during the morning session, you have up to 2 hours to return for the afternoon session without additional charge.
- Receipt Requirement – To gain re-entry for the afternoon session, please ensure you retain and present your receipt from the morning session.
