Step back in time and experience the magic of the Middle Ages at the 2024 York Medieval Fayre!
This highly anticipated annual event takes place on Sunday 22nd September 2024.
Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and tastes of medieval times as the streets come alive with knights, jesters, and fair maidens. From thrilling jousting tournaments to enchanting performances by wandering minstrels, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Explore vibrant market stalls filled with handmade crafts, traditional foods, and unique treasures. Try your hand at archery or watch skilled artisans demonstrate ancient crafts such as blacksmithing and pottery.
Children will be delighted by the interactive activities, including face painting, storytelling, farm animals and the chance to meet amazing characters.
And... family entry is super affordable at $10 for adults and FREE Entry for kids under 15!

Besides being an amazing spectacle, why should your family support the York Medieval Fayre?
It's an annual labour of love and dedication as the York Friendship Club, a group of local women, come together to put on this great annual event to not only benefit the community of York but, most importantly, raise money for the homeless and various charitable causes. Over the years, proceeds from the York Medieval Fayre have gone to help raise money for charities such as UNHCR, Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors without borders), Fred Hollows and, of course, Salvation Army to take care of the homeless in Perth.
