Chinese New Year Festivities at Watertown

By Cassandra Hart, Editor - Kids In Perth 04 Feb 2021

This month is Chinese New Year and 2021 celebrates the year of the metal ox.  If you were born in 1973, 1985, 1997 or 2009 – this is your year!

If you want to join in the festivities, head to Watertown Brand Outlet Centre in West Perth.  You and the family can enjoy a traditional lion dance filled with acrobatic dancing and accompanied by exciting traditional drums, gongs and cymbals!  After the show, have a family lunch at one of their delicious food outlets before browsing through their 100+ retailers.

When are the celebrations?

Sunday 14th February – 12pm
Friday 19th February – 12:30pm
Saturday 27th February – 12pm

The first 100 people to spend $50 or more in the centre can receive a Chinese red packet from Gelare with some centre goodies inside!
