Australia’s biggest celebration of basketball, HoopsFest, returns to Perth in 2026 and... it’s shaping up to be the most exciting one yet!
After the success of last year's inaugural event, the NBL made the decision to bring back this epic celebration of basketball back to WA! With continued support from WA basketball fans and families, this event may become an annual calendar fixture!
What we're most looking forward to from 2026 HoopsFest Perth:
Meeting NBA Legend Allen Iverson
This year’s headline guest is none other than NBA Hall-of-Famer Allen Iverson. Known for his electrifying crossovers and heart-on-sleeve attitude, Iverson will be meeting fans, signing autographs, and sharing his basketball journey in exclusive Q&A sessions.
Hoops Fest Cup
Come and watch Perth's basketball teams compete for cash in this open-age basketball tournament for over 18s where anyone can register to compete and win a slice of the massive $50,000 prize pool. Held over the entire HoopsFest and games played at Warwick Stadium.

HoopsFest Fan Zone & Free Family Fun All Weekend
The HoopsFest Fan Zone is a hub of basketball fun and activity. Challenge your basketball skills with fun games or meet star players for pictures and autographs.

The ultimate celebration of basketball heads back to Western Australia in January, with HoopsFest confirmed for Perth for a second straight year
The ultimate fusion of sport, culture, music and entertainment, HoopsFest will once again take over the state – this time in January, 2026 from the 15th until the 18th.
Significantly, all the action will take place during the regular season for both the Hungry Jack's NBL and WNBL competitions, meaning blockbuster matchups across four unforgettable days.
