The 2023 Ascot Racing Carnival is set to bloom into spring, kicking off with the exciting Opening Day on Saturday October 14th, and culminating with the thrilling TABtouch Perth Cup Day on Monday, January 1st 2024.
Ascot Opening Day, also being the first family day for this racing season, promises a fantastic family-friendly experience.
For kids, it's a day of non-stop fun with face painting, roving entertainers, inflatable rides, bubbles, fairy floss, popcorn, and even an ice cream van. Little ones can also meet retired racehorses up close in the pop-up stable, creating memorable connections with these former stars of the track.
For food options, why not indulge in a sumptuous buffet lunch at The Terrace?

As the temperatures start to rise, you can expect the Spring Racing Carnival to turn up the heat with 5 themed racedays, exclusive events and live screenings of the top Group 1 races in Victoria, including the Cauflield Cup, Cox Plate, Victorian Derby and the Melbourne Cup.
It all kicks off with family day on Ascot Opening Day, followed by Sporting Legends Day, Irish Day and TABtouch Derby Day at Ascot. The headline event for the Spring season is TABtouch Melbourne Cup Day at Ascot - Perth's biggest Cup Day party!
The Spring Racing Carnival marks the first series of events in the Ascot Racing Carnival, which runs up until 1 January 2024.
