One of the highlights of this year's festival is the Awesome Armadale Hub, bringing the magic of the festival to new areas of Perth.
Part of the City of Armadale's Spring Into Armadale, a celebration of the region's beautiful backdrop, this expansion exposes children and new audiences to the benefits of the Awesome Festival, nurturing a love and appreciation for the arts and creativity.

Little Red Riding Hood is an enchanting performance that promises to be a hit with the whole family. Follow Little Red Riding Hood as she embarks on a magical adventure through the woods, encountering familiar characters. It's one of many FREE family events and activities from this year's Awesome Festival program.
The Magical Weedy Seadragon is a unique and interactive experience that will amaze both young and old. Dive into the world of these fascinating creatures and learn about their enchanting underwater habitat.

What is the AWESOME Arts Festival?
The AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things (the AWESOME Festival) is presented annually in the Perth CBD.
The Festival showcases a spectacular array of events including theatre, dance, early childhood activities, music, film, literature, visual arts and creative hands-on activities.
AWESOME is committed to presenting high-quality, layered programming for children aged 0 – 12 and their families.
AWESOME in Schools

AWESOME offer bespoke incursions to schools in the Perth metro area throughout the year.
They can arrange for a professional AWESOME artist to run workshops at your school and are happy to tailor them to your class needs with a number of art forms to select from including:
- Illustration
- Circus
- Improvisation
- Printmaking
- Music
- … and more!
Due to the AWESOME Festival, they're not able to deliver incursions in September or October.
