Children aged 5 to 11 are now eligible to roll up for a COVID-19 vaccine.
The vaccine is the safest and most effective way to protect your child while at school, playdates, sporting events and group activities.
The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) has recommended a smaller dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine (Comirnaty) for children aged 5 to 11.
The paediatric Pfizer vaccine will be administered in two doses, with the recommended interval between first and second dose being eight weeks.
Bookings are essential. Parents and guardians can book their child in for a vaccination at a State-run clinic through VaccinateWA, or with participating GPs and pharmacies by contacting those providers directly.
