Hiccup!

With most of Australia still in lockdown, many touring shows & events won't be coming to Perth and interstate travel isn't possible... however that won't stop us from having fun with the kids and giving us the opportunity to celebrate and support local attractions and businesses.

It’s not just the kids who will enjoy this experience – parents will love reliving their childhood! 

The Nostalgia Box in Northbridge is Australia’s only video game console museum with over 100 consoles on display dating back to the 70s! 

There's an interactive gaming area where you can play all your favourite games and experience ones you never had the opportunity to play as a kid. 

Mario kart, Pac-man and Space Invaders – oh my! 

Open every day of the school holidays from 11am-4pm. School holiday program available for children ages 4 and up.

The kids will be in awe from the 28th September – 2nd of October at the AWESOME International Arts Festival for Bright Young Things (the AWESOME Festival)! The Festival showcases a spectacular array of events including theatre, dance, early childhood activities, music, film, literature, visual arts and creative hands-on activities. AWESOME is held in the Perth Cultural Centre and is aimed at children aged 0 – 12 and their families.

Experience Opera as a family

Koolbardi

Experience the incredible beauty of the language of this land, as this production promises to delight audiences of all ages.

West Australian Opera presents Koolbardi wer Wardong, a Wesfarmers Arts Commission in association with the 2021 AWESOME Festival.

This performance will take us back to the Nyittiny, the time of Creation, to meet Koolbardi the Magpie and Wardong the Crow.

Their cunning, their rivalry and one-upmanship brings them unstuck in spectacular fashion.

Runs October 2-6 at His Majesty’s Theatre with a special Relaxed Performance on the 5th at 3pm.

Come the school holidays, Outback Splash’s water activities will be in full swing for spring!

Experience their 4 giant waterslides that tower 6 storeys in the air, 2 raft slides, an extreme thrill slide, and WA’s fastest body slide!

Araluen Botanic Park is in full Spring bloom with the annual Tulip Festival here until October.

For these School Holidays, Araluen Botanic Park is adding Augmented Reality to the experience! Using filters found on Messenger, kids will get to meet many interesting characters including the Talking Tree!

With fewer international tourists around, they need our support and it's a great opportunity to update the family Instagram without the usual hustle and bustle.

2021 Waroona Show is on!

Tickets are on sale now to WA’s friendliest show where you can enjoy a real taste of country life.

There will be so much to see and do with entertainment that caters to both kids and adults alike.

Watch the horses and sheep dogs in action, learn how to milk a cow, and cuddle the baby animals.

Stroll through the tasting hall and sample local produce, climb up the climbing wall and bounce through an obstacle course.

There will also be agricultural competitions, auctions, log chopping, singers – and so much more!

Kardinya Park brings the farm to you.

For these September-October holidays, it's all about Farmyard Fun at Kardinya Park Shopping Centre!

In the first week, a farm animal display will run from Monday to Friday between 11am - 2pm.

The second week will have farm animal themed face painting and balloon twisting.
